There are literally hundreds of golf courses in Andalusia spread out all over the provinces, particularly on the Costa de Sol or “Costa de Golf” as it’s sometimes known. This is perhaps the most popular sport in Andalusia. Golf is certainly the most popular “visitor” sport. The amount of people coming on holidays just top play golf is increasing every year.
At the moment there are 37 courses in Malaga province, 13 in Cadiz, 7 in Almeria, 5 in Huelva, 4 in Sevilla, 2 in Cordoba and Granada and 1 in Jaén.
